A rate on its own is half an answer.
Since we started processing payer Transparency in Coverage files at national scale, our customers have asked a version of the same follow-up question. The number is useful, but who is this provider? Are they board certified? Taking new patients? Clean with the state board? Do patients like them? Is that network listing even accurate?
Answering those questions usually meant opening five browser tabs, a licensing board lookup, a review site and a spreadsheet that never quite lined up. Today we're fixing that. Provider Intelligence is live in Gigasheet, and it puts the clinician and the price in the same place. Want to see it first? Join our live webinar.
Provider Intelligence is a profile for every clinician in our data, more than 2.7 million at launch, connected directly to the negotiated rates and benchmarks Gigasheet already delivers. For any provider, you can see:
Every record carries its public source and reporting date. If a profile flags something, you can see exactly where it came from.
Directories tell you where a provider practices and which networks they say they're in. That's a starting point, and it's often stale. The useful questions sit across several sources at once. Is this in-network provider actually licensed and practicing? Is this group's rate high for the market, and is their quality signal strong enough to justify it? Which nearby specialists accept new patients and sit in a member's plan?
Because Provider Intelligence sits on top of our pricing data, you can ask those questions for one clinician or across an entire market, and compare groups side by side. Here's the official announcement.
Vet prospective partners before contracting, catch directory records that don't hold up against licensing or Medicare data, and see how your negotiated rates compare with competitors in the same market.
Get a clear read on your local market: who the competing clinicians are, how commercial reimbursement compares and where the network development openings are.
Match members to providers on more than proximity. Specialty, reputation, accessibility and published network information all show up next to cost context.
Back up care recommendations and claim reviews with provider background and the commercial rates behind them.
Map practice networks, market position and manufacturer relationships without building the dataset yourself.
We'd rather be clear than oversell. Network associations and negotiated rates reflect what payers and other sources publish. They don't confirm a provider's current participation, whether they'll accept a given patient, or what a claim actually paid. Our regulatory indicators summarize public records. They help you research faster, but they don't replace formal credentialing or primary-source verification. We'll keep adding sources and records, and coverage and methodology details are available on request.
Provider Intelligence is available now in the Gigasheet Price Transparency Explorer and through our API for teams building it into their own products.
It's a provider profile layer inside Gigasheet that connects clinician background, reputation, regulatory standing and published network data to commercial negotiated rates, covering more than 2.7 million clinicians at launch.
A directory lists where providers practice and which networks they report. Provider Intelligence adds qualifications, reputation, licensing and Medicare data, then ties it all to pricing and benchmarks so you can analyze providers and markets, not just look them up.
Yes. You can benchmark published negotiated rates across providers, payers and geographies. Keep in mind that actual claim payments may differ from published rates.
No. It speeds up research and flags things worth checking, but formal credentialing and primary-source verification still apply.
Through the Price Transparency Explorer web app or our API. The fastest way to see it is our live webinar with Gigasheet's co-founders.
